Our Response to the NLPAA’s Listing of Elizabeth Anne Walker Training Company

Last updated: 20 August 2026

The NLP Association of Asia Pacific Inc. (NLPAA) publishes a list on its website naming Elizabeth Anne Walker Training Company as an organisation whose training it does not recognise “due to breaches in NLPAA Trainer Code of Ethics”.

We have never been a member of the NLPAA. When we asked the association about the listing, it replied in writing on 8 April 2026: “you are not a member of the NLP Association of Asia Pacific, and as such you are not bound by our Trainer Code of Ethics.”

What the NLPAA Publishes

On its “Find a Trainer” page, the NLPAA entry regarding our training reads:

“Elizabeth Anne Walker Training Company — This training is not recognised due to breaches in NLPAA Trainer Code of Ethics.”

What the NLPAA Told Us in Writing

On 8 April 2026, Elizabeth Walker wrote to the NLPAA asking for the specific evidence supporting this listing. The NLPAA replied the same day, stating exactly:

“As you have noted, you are not a member of the NLP Association of Asia Pacific, and as such you are not bound by our Trainer Code of Ethics. Our role is not to regulate non-members, but to provide guidance to the public based on the information available to us.”

The Implications of Their Response

By the association’s own admission:

  1. They accept we are not bound by the very Code they claim we breached.
  2. They did not engage with us before publishing. We were given no opportunity to respond to any allegations prior to their listing.
  3. They will not provide specific details of any individual reports, making it impossible for us to investigate or answer them.

Our Position

1. Voluntary Independence

Elizabeth Anne Walker Training Company has never applied for membership with the NLPAA. We choose to align with the international standards of the American Board of NLP (ABNLP), which governs our Integrated NLP™ modality.

2. On Medication

We do not advise anyone on medication in either direction. Our trainers do not instruct participants to change their medical regimes. Those decisions belong solely to the individual and their healthcare providers. All students are required to acknowledge our Scope and Participant Care Policy.

Regulation of NLP in Australia

Neuro-Linguistic Programming is not a regulated profession in Australia. There is no government registrar or licensing scheme. The NLPAA is a private membership association, not a government or statutory regulator. It holds no legal authority to regulate or discipline non-members.
